This isn’t completely true. Arabs weren’t monolithic and you had many Arabs who supported the Ottomans. In fact Syrian Arabs made up two thirds of the 19th division of the Ottoman army that destroyed the allied forces at Gallipoli according to Turkey-based Australian writer and historian Bill Sellars:
“Two thirds of the troops who made up his 19th Division that faced the first wave of the Allied invasion were Syrian Arabs, comprising the 72nd and 77th regiments of the Ottoman army,” says Turkey-based Australian writer and historian Bill Sellars

our problem with Israel is its existence as a jewish state in muslim land.
If you regconise Israel, you regconise Al Aqsa as jewish land end of story.
Jews weren't interested in Al-Aqsa first, they even gave the west bank which Al-Aqsa is located in to Jordan. Israel was up for the two-state solution in the 19th century but Arabs declined it. That's why Israel had no other choice but to take over the west bank as well. Read some history, Israel wouldn't have given the west bank to Jordan if they were interested in it. Israeli politicians are secular and aren't into this holyland narrative, they went for the more fertile and costal areas. The rest including Al-Aqsa is a semi-arid mountainous rough land. It was later when the radical devout Jews came that Israel gave some interest to Al-Aqsa.
It's the old age story of Arabs bottling lands to foreigners as always and you can't help but laugh at such people. Why not accept the two state solution long ago when you had more than half of land left for you? And today they're crying and grieving over it!!! Egypt supported Somalia due to the nile river, they needed a strong Somalia in the region to keep Ethiopia at bay, they were looking out for their own interests.
