The Taliban can not even protect their own Mullahs

The Taliban have failed to defend their own embassies, police stations, and high commanders from ISKP suicide attacks.

When the Taliban were the rebels using suicide bombers they had an advantage against government forces but once they gained power in Afghanistan and were forced to run a whole country, they failed to defend themselves against their own terror tactics copied by other terrorist groups

ISKP is recruiting marginalized Uzbeks, taljiks, balkhs and Turkmen against the Taliban administration. Time has a funny way of jinxing itself.

If you are wondering if I support the ousted western puppet regime of Ashraf Ghani then the answer is No!!

This thread is only meant to expose the irony of the Taliban. The Taliban are now experiencing the painful reminder of how hard it is to defend against planned suicide operations which they used to happily carry out for the past 40 years from the safety of the mountains.

When the Taliban was in control of the countryside they were the hunters, once they’ve entered the cities then they’ve became the hunted. running a national government is not that simple.

Taliban has it's founding in violence, u can't expect others not to use the same approach against them. If a dictator is in power due to a peaceful coup, the only way to remove him is thru peaceful coup also like north sudan did to bashir omar. The Taliban only solution is now to create a 'fictional' external enemy like many countries founded in violence do like iran who came to power thru violence to keep it's people united and focused on some other external 'created or real threat' but once that dries up, then they will find violence will again be used against them by their locals who are no longer distracted

they are now trying to blame Pakistan to distract local Afghans from their own failures. funny thing is that the former Afghan regime accused Pakistan of funding & equipping the taliban and now taliban are blaming the ISKp problem on 🇵🇰

Those type of countries cannot lead to being positive force regionally or globally due it's founding being violent and trying to hold their nation together with violence so the 'cracks' don't start to appear, do not emulate them but study them as it's 'wisdom' on how not to do things. Eritrea/SL have similar foundings and SL will follow eritrea model n be a nuisance in the region like it already is with shabab but will grow bolder to eritrea level when recognized since the somalia fictional enemy would have been 'exhausted' and not 'relevant'.

Yes Taliban will point out 'fictional pakistan enemy' and his 'neighbors' like siyad did to us with ethiopia or sl does with somalia, infact they will support any 'violent' groups world wide making them risk to the world, welcoming rebels n terrorists alike no matter they were formed by 'small group' of ppl to oppose their country will and recognized system.

They need to send the uzbeks, Tajiks and others back to their lands. Too much cuqdad for the landheere pastuns.

I havent been following news there. Crazy how all these guys got killed

The Taliban do not know how to govern, they only know how to fight. I do not support them but I think it's great that they were able to get rid of all Western NGOs and the Western puppet government they had. They now have full control of all their countries resources and are de facto sovereign nation with no one controlling them. If they are able to work with educated Afghani class and Afghani diaspora they will be able to build a great country. They can even rehire all those Western trained police officers, army professionals, lawyers, lawmakers etc

This is a golden opportunity for them as they are the one of the countries that are considered bridges between East and West. They can use the help of China and other countries to build their nations from the ashes

This is what I do when assessing countries, it's repeatable.

1. How it was founded(violent war or insurgency, bloodless coup, historical, Constitutional elections).

2. Bloodless coup shows they have a bit of 'smarts' since it didn't cause blood-shed but it didn't respect the will of it's people or previous system, something similar will always be plotted against it locally, so it will be highly surveillance state while also lookin for 'fictional' enemies.

3. Historical is kingdoms and they can keep it stable as long as it has historical legitimacy and well embedded in their society. To remove these u need them to 'vacate' their role. Their are instances were violence was used to remove them like amereica but I consider that very un-wise. Popular elections is a different story as the king would need to 'accept' the ppl can 'vote' on their role.

3. Violent systems who came thru war like South Sudan, Taliban, SL, Eritrea, and many more. These areas will fall to violence either internally like south sudan did or they will fuel violence regionally and world wide if they can hence proving not a 'good partner' for any nation. They need 'enemies' to keep their ppl occupied due to the horrendous 'founding' of the system.

4. System Elections either direct or indirect but based on a constitution(an agreed system) by it's society, these will fall to 'elections' only, many try to use other routes but it will always be seen as 'small group' tryin to over-ride the will of the whole ppl and will be called rebels or terrorists.

Im still collecting the 'traits' of these various systems globally, as you don't need to know too much then about all the various countries and if their reliable partners or not or if their going to be positive or negative force where they live and to the world.

I don't know how this ended up in Somali politics section, but it is very funny how the Taliban are being targeted with suicide bombs by another terrorists organization.

@DR OSMAN You need to look at some of the traits the Chinese System of governance. It is one the most viable forms of governance for developing countries. The only way to become "leader" of a nation is to work your way up. All the "voting" happens at the grass roots level, once you are elected in a town or city everything you do is monitored and if you do not perform and achieve your goals you are replaced. If you commit corruption you are jailed or killed. It is a cold harsh calculated system that is very effective. Direct democracy is a disaster compared to this and takes way too long to get things done. We saw something similar to the Chinese model first hand in Somalia with the Kacaan and how effective it's policies were, outpacing many countries with it's economic&development plans that were a mix of state capitalism and local capitalism alongside some form socialism to help benefit the average citizen. Something similar to the Chinese One Party State model is what a lot of third world countries need until the population is "educated" enough and can make the right decisions without relaying on emotion.
