A store in Nairobi is selling Joukes and it got 100k views on TikTok but the half the comment are just saying its Arab clothes (Dadkan carabtu qulubta ka wastay Mxe ahayen war dharkan anaka leh ) and the other half claiming its unique one specific tribe ("Dhar MJ. MJ not eazy pro"). God I hate fobs but on the other hand these joke were low quality anyway.

The brand should’ve done an informative video including photos of sultans of the past who wore it, and then showcased theirs. And the commentsection should’ve been locked.

This is good but we need to get it bigger, on a governmental level. Judges back home should wear blue jouke instead of this weird somali flag coat I saw then they were doing the trial of the guy who burned his wife.

Maybe even have the president the black or White Joukes on certain special events or even state visits. Imagine HSM wearing this while giving a speech at the UN lol. Have this be the first thing that pops upon google when people search about somali traditional attire. However all our leaders have been 5'6 mallets with no aura so they'd prob ruin it.
