Majority of somali females are loyal to their options and don't care about somalinimo and cultural pride/loyalty. Women don't pass down wealth, assets and lineage. So why would they be picky who they make babies with. For men it's essential that they keep their wealth and assets within their group it ensure success and longterm development. Why do you think Chinese and Europeans are successful ? It's because they pass down their wealth to their homogenous offspring. You will never be successful community if you share your wealth with foreign women . I do not believe in the notion of female hypergamy in terms of its universalism. We live in the 21st C and are not being traded for geel and other livestock. We aren't impoverished/materially deprived and forced to marry for money alone.

Anyone who chooses wisely would prefer an equal match founded on similar life principles, character, attraction, commitment with a drive to succeed in lands with greater opportunities for education, and better access to social services and health care than the mother country. We have a considerable amount of privilege.

And when you look at it the best marriages are between individuals with the most commonalities on dimensions of education, ses, faith, values and even heritage. Generally the more similar the background the better that bodes for marital success.
