No, colonization maybe but not slavery. Slavery always existed in some form. It only recently in history became racialized and in most cases west Africans were not victims. It was business and they sold enemy groups and other tribes to enrich their kingdoms.

i get that but i meant the full on big business slavery that sent ships from africa to the new world
