Those in rural areas I understand if they are starving due to livestock perishing and water drying up. There should be charity but in a more sustainable way so they don’t have to rely on it on the future you have to remember there will always be poverty and hunger.

They built water wells for nomads and you can't believe the sub sub clan arguments between those in power who wanted the wells first built for their jufo and in some cases, work was delayed for weeks. Even when we wanted to install a water purification systems for displaced poor Somalis, some senior corrupt Puntland official wanted bribes or we should get lost. The enemy of Somalis are Somalis themselves and not these NGO's,

They were mostly retired professionals who self funded their project, got assistance such as materials from big construction engineering companies and superannuation funds.
