I personally am sick of Puntland carrying this Somali burden. Can anyone deny it's this clan that is constantly sacrificing itself and it's own well being for other clans.

1. 1927 is when upper and lower majerteniya kingdoms were forcefully annexed into Somalia. They entered Mogadishu when it was old Hamar quarter and a Soweto abgaal area. They invested and built it up untill 91, dedicating 60 years of hard majerten work even at their own region expense only for it to be looted.

2. When they left in 91, all Somalis left, then they returned laying the ground work of the current federal govt as the TFG in 2004-2009. They paved the way for all somali politicians to return yet again and for Mogadishu to begin recovery. All it got back was scholarship looting, international aid looting, waging conflict in galkacyo 2016 under HSM.

It's time Somalis accept for the next 100 years Somalia will be Puntland first focused to even out the last 100 years that Puntland focused on the south. This is a fair deal and eye for and eye.

We have managed to survive for 30 years without you, and we are still here. You are just an obstacle and a burden.

Puntland has already done the two biggest tasks that were necessary to kick starting Somalia post collapse:

1. Introducing federalism in 1998, thus sabotaging Isaaq secession dreams.
2. Returning a central government back to Mogadishu in De, bringing an end to 16 years of Hawiye chimpout.

The heavy lifting has been done. Puntland gave Somalia the political space to begin rebuilding state institutions. The more time that passes, the more people will appreciate Puntland’s farsightedness.
