This is the pettiest thread ever. Just simply looking up the Arabic name 'Farah' in the search engine exposed that even in Arab cultures, Farah is most definitely a name given to men:

Call it petty and whatever else you like, but after you searched the entire internet you came up that the name is OCCASSIONALLY given to men and it is unisex. What is wrong in admitting these facts? Powerful nations debate these kind of issues and admit if they got it wrong. A Somali nomad would never give a "unisex" name to his male son. Why Farah? He didn't know. Simple facts.
Do you also feel as strongly about Xamdi iyo Shukri? They’re also unisex names.
