How come tiny Al Shabab can't be karbashed like this?

Al-shabbab didn't unite the world in a common cause to eliminate it.

It's a local problem at best and no-one cares.

Isn't that mostly Tahrir controlled or whatever their name is now? They used to be Al Qaeda and before that Al Nusra.

It is Free Syrian Army (FSA) , Al Nusra and other terror groups allied. It is a weird alliance of convenience.
