The future of Somalia

The answer is an emphatic NO! We'll be very fortunate if we somehow manage to maintain the status quo. I'd consider that a miracle.

You're not really explaining why it's a stupid concept?
Qabil is the reason for somali success, setbacks happen all the time, everywhere.
Good governance is only stopped by personal interest and religious extremism.

The only reason people support the warlords is because of the fact that THEY have the food sent as aid by the rest of the world, think of it like stockholms syndrome.

Qabils are bad because they cause division hence why we had a Qabil fueled civil war and continue to have people fighting it out to the death because their clan elder said so.

The people enable the politicians to stay in power. They would support a corrupt warlord as long as he was from the same qabil as them .The problem lies with the views of the people in general not with a few members of our population.

Sxb qabil should only indentify you as an individual. It shouldn't serve any other purpose. Somali qalad bey ka fahman arintaas and hence why every single thing in somalia is about or comes down to qabil. We are using it wrong.

The civil war was caused by Siad barre.
In an effort to hold on to power, Barre's ruling Supreme Revolutionary Council became increasingly totalitarian and arbitrary. This caused opposition to his government to grow. And as with every dictatorship, it falls down due to revolution.

Somalis just need to look in the mirror and realize that their own views are the reasons for their woes.

The civil war has long ended, what's currently going on is that there's a religious extremist group known as Al shabab that follow wahabism that want to take control of the country and turn it into a theocracy.

For power - For their Qabil
For independence - For their Qabil
For Vengenance - For their Qabil
To gain stability - Only for their own Qabil
Beautiful response.

What's the point of asking a question if you're not going to ponder it?

Foreign somalis think like you. Everything isn't black and white like you try to put it. Keep looking down on somalis, it shows how much you know about somalia in general.

The majority of Somalis problems in Somalia are caused by themselves and they refuse to acknowledge it . The problems are easily fixable , its pretty black and white. I'm not looking down on Somalis either.
