Are Sudanese even cushites? Aren’t they regular black mixed with Arab?

Cushites originated from Sudan sxb
There are Nilotic population especially south Sudan and Darfur region in West. But the nile and east is pretty Cushitic. The eastern regions is Beja tribe that stretches in south east Egypt and they are a North Cushitic speaking tribe similar language to Somali Oromo Afar who speak East Cushitic
Arabs did migrate in but majority of them still look like the average Horner. I knew some Sudanese girls in my class and I though they were somali before they told me.

There is more than one ethnicity in Sudan. There are tribes like the Rashaida who are Arabs, but I think they do not intermarry with the Sudanese. There is a tribe called the Jaalis, who are mixed Arabs. There are the Beja Kushite tribes, the Nubians and others. I heard that they have more than 50 ethnicities in the country, which is crazy
To hell with "Cushites". North Sudan has been Arab for centuries and Somalia is undergoing Arabization which is nearly complete.
As for most of Ethiopia/Eritrea, they're Habeshas [Afro-Sabeans] not Cushites.

The strange thing is that they live in peace and without any ethnic wars. The only thing standing in the country’s way are the corrupt politicians. Is language and religion the reason?

Why not mention the most dominated/assimilated cushites, the south east african ones that once dominated from kenya to mozambique almost all got nilotized/bantuized. Even the rendille whom were fortunate enough to be isolated by geography have experienced this to a degree. It's a fate nearly all pastoralists experience vs farmers. That will be the way of somalis too.

Most ethiopiand except from Highland are pure Cushitic stock.
Highlanders, especially those in hinterlands are central cushite Agews who got assimilated during medieval era by Amhara crusaders who installed themselves as ruling and serfed them.
Only real Horners with lots of sabean blood is Tigrayans/Eritreans and some Amhara. Highland is Central Cushitic Agew who got cucked by Yemeni Sabeans.

South cushites got Karbashed. Only reason they got replaced was because of tset tset fly which killed cattle cushites relied on so there was a famine that killed most population. At the same time the bantu farmer were leaving Congo and moved into the mostly empty land.
I remember some Ugandan online talking about how his tribe has some oral story about his tribe "leaving the jungles" which he assumed was central africa Congo.

Honestly, I haven't heard of it, brother. I don't know. I did not hear about ethnic massacres there. Your words are also true. I know that the large number of ethnicities in any country makes it vulnerable to ethnic wars among themselves, but I did not see that in Sudan.

They were all over majority sub Saharan. Main reason why bantu didn't get cities outside of the coast.
