This war in ethiopia is longer than any Somali war. These negros been fight before Said Bare was in office. Its nearly 60 civil war in ethiopia. Ask yourself this one question if you dont agree why is there more ethiopian in the west more than Somali's?

The Ethiopian government also works hard to limit access by foreign media to their hotspots. They control the narrative unlike our government which allows elderly women to be lined up for pictures in the hot sun by “aid agencies” for some oil and flour.

You have to understand that the Ethiopian apparatus is inherently unsustainable due to the simple fact that there is no shared Ethiopian identity. You have 80+ ethnicities that speak in various languages and believe in different religions all forced together but share no history or culture. One only needs to look at the fact that Ethiopia's borders have been constantly fluctuating and changing throughout its history only seeing its modern borders (aside from Eritrea) form in the 50s. However, those little groups aren't the problem compared to the big three (Amhara, Tigrayans, Oromos) who absolutely REFUSE to work or compromise with each other and since they all want to claim ultimate authority for themselves, resulting in constant power struggles throughout the 20th century. Its kind of similar to the qabilyad Somalis suffer from albeit on a much larger scale that results in millions dying in order to secure Arat Kilo.

There can be brief lull in violence but conflict will happen again with another regime change.

Brother it’s not about Christianity and Islam.

I think most Christians in Ethiopia are not like TPLF. And Christianity doesn’t endorse this violence.

The TPLF is just Tigrayan-Christian extremist organization. In Axum, Tigray constructions of Mosque are prohibited . The local Muslim population is not allowed to build mosques in Axum, no Azan, no islamic funerals.

Tigrayan King Yohannes the 5th was engaged in ethnic cleansings. He converted many Jebertis in Tigray and Muslims in Wollo and Oromia by force to Christianity.

many Muslims from Tigray (Jebertis) were expelled from Tigray and fled to Eritrea.

In Eritrea we don’t have these kind of religious tensions.

Ethiopia is still were it was since the Adal-Abessianian conflict. But I think other communities as oromos amharas garage are less reactionary.

I actually think Drones can beat rebels. It just needs to be smaller Drones. Drones like the Turkish TB2 aren't enough to beat guerilla rebels. The Drones that can defeat guerilla rebels would instead be Kamikaze cheap disposable Drones.

This cheap drone killed a Russian in Ukraine after chasing him around a bit. This Russian kamikaze Drone is 35k USD each. Ethiopia could theoretically buy a few hundred thousand of them and use it to kill off all the rebels.

When fully AI autonomous Drones swarms come eventually that'll fully mark the end of rebels. If Ethiopia gets these AI autonomous Drone swarms it'll become a stable neverending dictatorship. Somalia will also get these drones when they see it being used on Ethiopian rebels to use against Al shabaab.

What gains have Fano been making? They still can't hold the cities whenever they try coming inside. I'm seeing both the government and Fano saying they are winning so it's hard to tell who's actually winning. One side is lying obviously.

Also Fano appears to be fighting the TPLF for the territory currently held by Fano but officially belongs to Tigray. Fano can't fight both the government and TPLF at the same time and win. They most likely lose ground on 1 side or both sides.

How is Fano making major gains? They are losing on the north front with TPLF now. Ethiopian military is supporting TPLF now as they blocked Fano from coming to stop TPLF.
