The Arab League was set up ''like the UN'' in order to bring peace, and prosperity amongst their countries, and avoid wars, and unite base on an ''Islamic/Arab'' identity but the opposite has happened. Ever since the Arab League was set up, this organization has done nothing to stop Arab countries from going into civil wars, invading each other. killing each other, banning each other from flying into their countries. No wonder why the world cannot take the Arabs seriously.

Also the fact that Gulf Arabs kept on funding certain Islamist factions in the Levant, and North Africa, and supporting certain political figures(mainly during the Arab Spring that was happening in Egypt, and Tunisia) that they deemed worthy enough to support their own interests rather than supporting democracy as a whole in the Middle East.
