This whole fund would become $10Billion, (Yes Billion).
This mega Ayuuto fund would develop 3 Public companies:

This would be a great way to fund the initial projects that lay the foundation for the mega funds of Somalia's future.
We can never imitate the Chinese with their slave labour as we're too lazy or egotistical for it and we're too late to conquer continents like the West.
Instead we should make use of what we're good at and at the same make our current strongest weakness our biggest strength (as it was before 1960).
Organize clans to pay in either few hundreds or a thousand per capita into "family funds" they control through rules that prevents corruption and brings forward talented managers within the clan and external top consultants.
A large clan with over a million members only needs to have 10% pay per capita $100/m and you'll have over $100 million to invest every year.
Once a couple major clans start it then everyone will start to copy it and start their own family funds.
You don't even need funds that large.
A small 1,000 membership clan could still invest over a million a year (plenty of 10k sized sub sub clans).
That's enough for a small production plant.
If 10 of those families work on a joint venture they could build a decent sized factory.
Sure this won't bring in the billions that we need but it would be quite difficult to get 10,000 Somalis to invest 100k in Somalia projects without more personal involvement.
These family funds would also be more competitive and pull in a lot of cheap human resources when needed.
Instead of trying to chase after cheap factory exports like all the other undeveloped countries copying E.Asia and losing out against automation we should turn into a financial centre and get the 100+ million Ethiopians next door to work for us.
If just 5% of the 20 million Somalis worldwide are members of these funds we could put a billion into businesses every year.
That's 50 * $100 million dollar projects (ukwim) within 5 years.
Qabils could end up as our secret weapon in the global economy.
Hopefully we'll work on some countermeasures to make sure our rivals don't turn this from friendly competition between funds to a zero sum game with sabotage orchestrated by foreigners.
If it works out then I could easily see these larger funds ending up as Somali banks and important economical anchors like in Japan and Korea (every large conglomerate has its own bank that eats it's own dog food).
Could be worth looking into if we actually had a more accurate figure of our real GDP per capita.
