There is a puntland citizen, puntland existed before Somalia in its current form. We have an established national identity. There’s nothing called Sws citizen or Puntland citizen

I don’t think Raxanweyn are true Somalis. I’ve seen a few, even the Somali looking ones have odd un Somali mannerisms. These are fellow Somalis your going to far
But puntland is not a country it’s a state region, it’s like saying a Californian citizenThere is a puntland citizen, puntland existed before Somalia in its current form. We have an established national identity.
Either you are trolling or very ignorantI don’t think Raxanweyn are true Somalis. I’ve seen a few, even the Somali looking ones have odd un Somali mannerisms.
As I’ve said before it is wholly unwise and illogical to compare American federalism to Somalias imitation attempt, the country had literally collapsed for a while. Puntland was de facto independent for a while and a de facto independent state will have citizens no?But puntland is not a country it’s a state region, it’s like saying a Californian citizen
We have to define the term “Somali” and look at its history, it wasn’t used as a marker of identity by Southerners until independence. When I say southerner I’m not referring to the Darod who arrived from the north and west.Either you are trolling or very ignorant
So according to your logic only daroods are Somalis and the rest are non-SomalisWe have to define the term “Somali” and look at its history, it wasn’t used as a marker of identity by Southerners until independence. When I say southerner I’m not referring to the Darod who arrived from the north and west.
No, the term was only used to refer to the people of the north (and people who had origins there) be isaaq, Dir, Darod or what have youSo according to your logic only daroods are Somalis and the rest are non-Somalis
That’s not true, there’s no difference between a Somali from the north and the south, check the dna/genetics part of this forum @Step a side @Shimbiris @NidarNidarNo, the term was only used to refer to the people of the north (and people who had origins there) be isaaq, Dir, Darod or what have you
I’m not talking about genetics but even then there’s dna difference. The independence of Somalia has led to the standard adoption of af maxaa tiri which is northern in origin and the decimation of other related tongues. That’s not true, there’s no difference between a Somali from the north and the south, check the dna/genetics part of this forum @Step a side @Shimbiris @NidarNidar
Even in culture and mindset.I’m not talking about genetics but even then there’s dna difference. The independence of Somalia has led to the standard adoption of af maxaa tiri which is northern in origin and the decimation of other related tongues.
Culture doesnt make a people. Theres cultural differences everywhere even amongst homogeneous people. Mindset…? what a load of baloney. This is unserious go and work on your arguments.Even in culture and mindset.
There’s no difference, I’ve seen lots of results from the south and are the same with ones in the northI’m not talking about genetics but even then there’s dna difference. The independence of Somalia has led to the standard adoption of af maxaa tiri which is northern in origin and the decimation of other related tongues no difference
He has an agenda iska dhaaf dont waste your time. No sources to back up anything hes saying. Take it with a pinch of salt. There’s no difference, I’ve seen lots of results from the south and are the same with ones in the north
Raxaanweyns are ethnic somalis its just that jereers love cosplaying as themI don’t think Raxanweyn are true Somalis. I’ve seen a few, even the Somali looking ones have odd un Somali mannerisms.
1. Raxanweyn is a confederacy it includes people that aren’t Somali ethnicallynigga wtf you on about?so what clans do you propose arent somali? raxanwayne are very somali to the point where they directly descend from some of the earliest somalis.
there is dna difference even within the north depending on where you go. Within families there are dna differences. Dir/isaaq haplogroup T and darod primarily E. this doesnt even make sense
Southerners spoke maxaa tiri the same way the northerners spoke maxaa tiri. We even have variations such as af maay being spoken by raxanwayne people which is even older than maxaa tiri and contains purer somali words.
Yeah, and an oromo and Somali when compared to a Sudani or Eritrean are gonna appear closer, don’t put too much stock into g25 and all these dna analysis tools, they aren’t accurate. A people group separated over hundreds and hundreds of miles are going to differ in language and genetics. There’s no difference, I’ve seen lots of results from the south and are the same with ones in the north
They have oromo groups like the jiddu and darandollo and hadame amongst them as well. As well as other somalis whos clans were defeated and settled amongst them. They are not wholly of Somali stock and their emergence isn’t that long ago or as ancient as people put it. Sab are the artisan class and somalicised groups and samaale are the Somali, these aren’t two brothers lol, it’s a designation.Raxaanweyns are ethnic somalis its just that jereers love cosplaying as them
I think you need to improve your historical knowledge1. Raxanweyn is a confederacy it includes people that aren’t Somali ethnically
2. I’m not talking about haplogroups
3. Af maxa tiri dominance is due to the state making it the primary language
4. “Purer Somali words” hoo lawdy get a load of this
5. Go on bugger off and improve your historical knowledge.
