I think it should return but the correct way of course, following the Quran & Sunnah. Sufis throughout history have massively contributed to the spread of Islam & they have a great spiritual effect.

Stop calling upon the names other than Allah. Calling upon the name of something is worship according to Islam.

When they make incorrect claims, or notations that a person can bring back the dead or make a dead animal alive, then that is just shirk/kufr

Surah fatiha iyaka nacbudu wa iya nastaciin. The meaning you alone we worship and you alone wa ask for help. So worship is asking anything for help other than Allah that's shirk.
