All you need is a couple of speed boats to finish the job it is not rocket science. At the moment he controls coastal Sanaag so that could be the base of operations in regards to Berbera. Back in the days the SNM in Sanaag (in the 80s) had armed speed boats for such sabotage operations.

Caare is a veteran military man he is even more sophisticated than me in that field (so far he
defeated Sland region in two battles). However what needs to be factored in is the speed of the
boat, is the operation going to be at night or day etc all those things can determine if the
operation will be successful or not.

His goal is to confine the current admin only in Hargeisa then eventually destroy it, after that a new admin can be created. So far ever since the Caare movement was created in 2018 Sland region has been severely weakened in the east.

Nah Hargeisa is originally a Eidagale & Arab city. It is not easy to move everything, Sanaag doesn't have ports or airports so it will take a lot of planning. However what is easy is to cause a massive economical damage to the current admin so it can't fund its wars anymore.

Seaborne assaults are not unprecedented in Somalia. Al Shabaab carried out a massive one against Puntland in 2016. They were aiming to land in Bari so that they could get into the mountains but were spotted and forced to land their forces in Garacad and a tuulo near Eyl. They were decimated because there was nowhere for them to run or hide and they were deep in hostile enemy territory.

The Caare situation is different because Somaliland has a mountain range running all the way through and he won't be traveling nearly as far as Al Shabaab did in 2016. Additionally, he has clansmen all over Somaliland who are sympathetic to his cause. Their numbers are growing as the Somaliland government becomes more blatant with their pro Habar Awal agenda. Even reer Hand Job are becoming disillusioned.
