Okay, I overhead these cadaan people talking about splitting the bill. One of the guys was saying he doesn't believe he should pay on dates. Whilst the other was traditional and said he would.

It got me thinking about the issue and also, the constant discussion people have on the matter on social media.

Personally, i would be irratated if a guy I was talking to decided to 'split' the bill. However, thats just me.

Okay, men if you were meeting up with the girl of your dreams at a restaurant ect would you split or pay? Be honest, i'm not judging.

Girls, how would you feel if you were meeting up with a guy you really liked and then at the end expected you to pay for your half?

Please no gender wars or bashing.

Your example is---if a guy who is really into a girl, should he pay or split the bill? I would say, pay the bill. At least in the first phase of dating, and maybe early in nickaah or wedding honeymood., But when they become husband and wife, the issue of who pays the bill is useless.

Why is that your goal? Why not set your goal much higher?
Honestly my whole life I never really strived to be wealthy person. I always wanted to make a decent amount where i can support myself and family. Also not worry about being broke.

From birth to age 18 my goal career was law enforcement(I wanted to be a homicide detective) and those guys make around 50-80k Once I reached college I learned about other fields and decided to switch my focus onto another field.

I can still persue law enforcement if I change my mind after I finish school. It’s my back up.

With what I’m studying right now a 100k salary is possible.
In fact my old black ops clan member works in biomedical making 60k. He is a biomedical engineer. His company is offering to pay for him to get his masters. 100k is possible for him after that

$70k is nothing in America tbh

Software engineers can get $100k straight out of college
It depends on where you live. 70k is pretty good in a lot of states.

But if your living in Cali NY or the other tourist states than 70k is avg.

Even teachers in California are getting paid close to 100k

I understand bro. Detective seems hella interesting after I watched Se7en. It is understandable if you work under an institution like law enforcement to have a certain pay. I saw through the lens of starting own business or something. But i get you.

Are you happy with getting around 8k a month? Honestly, that really small amount.

@HalimaJ if a guy choose to split the bill. What would you do after you both payed?

If I asked a girl out after seeing her for a few weeks, and I choose the venue and dating plans, then I'll pay for everything because I invited her to the date.

If I know this girl and we "hanged out" a lot before hand (i.e. pseudo-dates), then we're sorta dating for the sake of the relationship. At that point, we're both probably planning it together, so we'll split.

If a woman asks me out on a date, I usually say no because I like to make the first move. On the off chance I say yes, then if she's taking me out to a super expensive place and she planned it out, she better fkin pay.

Okay, guys this isn't any girl i'm talking about. I'm talking about a girl you're really into...like someone you could see yourself marrying.

Would you say the more into you are with a lady, the more you are likey to pay?

So you're basically asking if men are flexible with their principles for the right girl? Personally I would pay regardless of how ideal or far from she is. Like you said, women like that. No matter how liberal, SJW or independent. I genuinely believe that 99.99% of women would prefer the man pay. So I would do it because if anything it furthers my goal, sincere or otherwise.

I would never pay on a date

If you ask me out and you expect me to pay for the experience, wallahi I will spit in your face

The mere fact that I have come out to spend time with you should suffice and if not..let’s count the cost of how much it has cost me to come out

Lying to my family about where I’m going = priceless
Travel cost £40
Make up cost = £200
New outfit cost = £300
Time I could have spent doing more productive things = minimum £200

Now let’s count the cost from the male side
Moisturiser stolen from hoyo = free
Cheap designer knock offs you already owned = no cost endured

If you are willing to account for the costs from my side then I will be happy to pay for the 20 dollar meal you cheap bastard

I don't know, how mothers go work and come home and look after kids, clean and make time for their partners. They are super women.

The 'superwoman' lifestyle isn't for me. Ideally I'd want to just have my own business in which I can work from home.

Super women stuff is a myth, whenever you take on several roles you will always significantly compromise on a few of them.

We are not physically or mentally built for multidimensional roles, it's always a give or take, even if our will power and energy levels were doubled there is simply not enough hours in the day to complete all those roles to adequate standards.

Besides the majority of the soft diaspora kids raised on caano booro can barely fulfil a single task to good adequate standards let alone do 2 of them.
