Speaking German gets you a bigger paycheck then speaking Spanish or French

These are just "forecasts". Might as well wipe your xaar with them. I'd still go with French, it has a much wider global reach and is the lingua franca of several developing nations. German is only spoken in Germany and a few other Euro nations, which makes it next to useless because 95% of business people and professionals in those countries already speak English.

I'd really like to so how they came up with these numbers.

I am British, and I'd like to go somewhere different and take advantage of EU freedom of movement but I can't speak any of the EURO languages! I chose Spanish(useless language) in high school but I was daydreaming mostly in my school days so I can't even remember anything! And we're out anyways

There is like 1 million British expats in Spain (no need to speak Spanish there if you're British) . However Spanish can be very
useful in Latin America.
