Actually I've found out keeping an x-amount of cash for groceries and other every day related stuff is a good way of saving money and keeping a budget, when you go swinging with the credit it's really hard to keep your budget and at times won't notice if you go overboard with your spendings.I always pay in cash when I go to ethnic stores.
Those guys love cash as that makes it able for them to do shady accounting.
What service do you Americans get in your restaurants that we don’t over here that require tipping? Isn’t waiters job to bring the food to you? I would never tip anyone and you can’t guilt trip me cause I have no shame
Just tip you cheap ass, I always tip its a great courtesy for great service. I see the white man’s civility hasnt properly rubbed off on you yet. Only FOBs dont tip and count every penny!
Yeah. But the fact that restaurants/bars higher people based on lower than minimum wage and guilt trip customers is a joke. But since you tip after you been served, surely they can’t do anything to the customers food, that’s my only concernThis is in Canada. Tipping was supposed to be used only to supplement alcohol servers who would make a few dollars an hour. It doesn't make any sense anymore since they now make minimum wage. It has now entered almost all service jobs and industries who were always making at least minimum wage. Why should we tip a barber or Uber driver if we can't tip a fast food worker or a cashier at the grocery store?
Tipping will never disappear unfortunately. I actually knew a girl who made over $100K a year working at the bar. She dropped out of uni. Virtually all of it came from tips. She was attractive though. They don't want $15 and no tips. They rather $0 per hour and just tips which isn't even taxed.
Well hope their untaxed emotionally extorted tip money is helping them out in this 3rd lockdownMany white people hate tipping actually, especially now that minimum wage has been raised way too high. You should read what they say on Reddit from the leftists obsessed with worker's rights and "late stage capitalism"... even they are complaining. The only people who love tips are those in the hospitality and service industry who receive them.
We should be more like Europe: no tipping and posted prices are the final price (tax included).
I went to buy an item and the cashier added a tip to it and then gave me the card machine. I couldn't believe my eyes. Tips were never to be expected but now it's mandatory in restaurants which I never even go anymore because their food has become trash but now small business owners expect a tip and add the tip all by themselves.
I said never mind and walked out.
Why are tips allowed to be charged? Minimum wage is $14 and is heading to $15 but tips are becoming mandatory and its percentage is even increasing. It used to be 10% but now it's 18% and up to 33%. And now business owners have come out their begging tip bowls. Get lost.
