I am pleased to announce our first competition of the year. SomaliSpot will be hosting this year's chess tournament with the help of last year's runner-up, @angelplan.

Registration is open for 2 weeks until the 12th of June (12 PM GMT) and the first match will be held the following day. Registration may be closed earlier if 31 members register to participate. This year's winner and runner-up will receive Amazon gift cards, custom tags, and other forum perks.

Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of skill level. The tournament will be managed by @angelplan. If you have any questions regarding the tournament, please use this thread.
