No say wallahi are anyone who didn't grow up in Somalia nor speak Somali. You could be born in 1985 and be say wallahi. Plus many kids born in 1996 and after were born and raised in refugee camps and just want to fit in so they pretend to not know Somali.
99% of them are just faking it because their parents don't know English so they have to know Somali. They think it's ilbax not to speak their own language.
Idk you display some aspect that i can't pinpoint that can be attributed to a person 26+.Why? do I sound old or smth![]()

Since I was 10 I went back home every summer plus my mom used to throw wooden spoons and beat me if I spoke anything but Somali at home. I spent a lot time with my ayeyo as well. I grew up speaking Somali and didn't learn English until I started kindergarten. I speak Somali at home and English at work and school. Practice makes perfect.Ur Somali is berfect, ur mom did really well mashallah. I can speak Af-Somali oo lagu meel tagikaro, lakiin waa iska jaqaf jaqaf :siilaanyolaugh:
Gormaan waxaas idhi? In fact I believe the opposite, there is no such thing as say wallahi just those who pretend they don't speak Somali because they think it has no value.Interesting, it seems that you have a strong opinion on "Say Wallahi " folks..
P.s not all of us are void or deficient of the pure somali language![]()

2015, unfortunately it was only a tour of PL. There was a change of plans so we didn't get to go to k5 or Jubbaland. It was good though, very eye opening, it destroyed a lot of my misconceptions.
What about saxib? Where did you go in 2012?![]()
Ina adeer kheyr weeye qhayr ma'aha lakiin waad mahadsantahay.Mashallah, qhayr allahu ku siiyo tuuh *blows on hand and rub ur dhusha like old ppl do when they say tuuh*
Man you went to a relatively safe area, i went to Mogadishu and nearby villages and my vacation turned into somewhat
part paranoia due to constant al-shabaab bombing and relaxtion and getting acclimatized with the social and physical environment there.
Allah tan waa lii soo dhiray, ina adeeray waa doceeysantahey, xoog intaa ushaqaayo baa taano taano baa iskukaynaahay markaas gifty ahaan baa igu bari'lahayd luqadha, Kheyr Allah ku siiyo *tuuh* *tuuh*Ina adeer kheyr weeye qhayr ma'aha lakiin waad mahadsantahay.
Mogadishu has improved since. They still have bombings every now but it has definitely improved a lot. In a couple of years everything should be all gucci there.
My only problem was that it gets boring you know. To avoid that I am wont come back until I have a small fortune that I can use for a business or project. I will definitely go back though, ideally in the next 5-10 years.
