I recognise this girl from some years back when she got backlash on twitter for trying to pass off arranged marriage/rishta culture as a Somali issue. She's either an cad cad or half pakistani if I remember correctly.


I already had a negative impression of her due to that, but now that I see her campaigning against FGM in English & reaching a nearly all ajanabi audience. I think it's safe to conclude her intentions are disingenuous & will only cause the Somali community more negative stigma.
