The quran inspired and contributed to most inventions we have today as it stimulated and drove the minds of the early muslims to create a golden age of scientific advancement. We would be behind 600yrs if not for the golden islamic age.
While it is possible for evolution to have been the human origin. There is no clear basis to support this and since i don't jump to any conclusion before i completely research a particular subject i will with-hold my judgement for now. However i am very weary about trusting the theory of evolution blindly.
What puzzled me as a child and still bewilders me till this day. Is the simple fact that if we evolved over millions of years, then why haven't any other species evolve to walk on two legs with thumbs for tool usage like we have? Why are humans so special in both the creationist and evolutionist views?

So scientists are not saying there is no satrting point...but where the raw material comes from that interact in chemical reaction? And why people like you deny there could be a manipulation in these chemical reaction...like isolation of materials and control the heat. Like we do in labs?

yea why human only evolved...what happened to transitional fossils..aka missing links...i dont see them having half monkey half human fossils...these people believe in religion and have faith in theories...Thats all.

Evolution can easily be proven by looking at bacteria and other single cell organisms. I think the main point of contention is what exactly we have evolved from. Did we only slightly evolve from Adam and Hawa when Allah SWT create them or did we evolve from other creatures such as monkeys or fishes?
If you believe in Islam, you'd believe we all derived from Adam and Hawa (peace be upon them). It's known that humans at the time were really tall, and there even existed a group that would carve their homes from the mountains. Adam was said to be 60 cubits tall but there was a gradual decrease in our height as humans. I think some sort of evolution took place but not the kind others believe (such as evolving from monkeys).
Micro-evolution can be reconciled with Islam, which would be different than macro-evolution.

Evolution is real we can see that even today certain animals evolve due to their habitats. You can argue about human creation but evolution is real.

He asked you a simple question, if every created thing is contigent you cant have contigent things relying on each other ad infinitum as you would have the absurdity of an infinte regress. Since you cant have that, their must have been a necessary existence that didnt need a starting point and had agency(hence why he chose to create the university) to begin with.
Also using science as an ultimate truth is incredibly stupid and just displays how much of a pseudo intellecual you are. Science has paradgim shifts andf what is beleived to be scientific truth today can change next week. We used to believe in a steady state theory and everyone thought that was a scientific truth and took it for gospel until it was debunked a few decades later by the expanding universe model.
