It's true we did mix with the Arabs. Many of my family members are married to Yemenis and my mothers great grandmother is Yemeni. Today, I heard Yemenis live in Qardho as refugees but they assimilated into society and are now making business. Arabs are more then welcome to stay and work on our land.

I never say I am arab to them , I always say somali but it's not like they will listen . They will just say no " ALL SOMALIS ARE ARAB" then rant for a bit.
