There are only 16-18,000 of them (kind of on the lowside). So I doubt they have their own areas. Most likely they live dispersed and probably mostly near the main urban centers.
Most of them live around Melbourne (5 million people city).
I got a first cousin there.
On his social media I saw he has some Dinka friends.
And the stereotype that they are tall is true, his South Sudanese friends were as tall as doors (2M / 6'6'').

I think the ones living in South Sudan do not reach their full potential and are stunted in their growth. A height study on Australia born full-blood South Sudanese adults would be fascinating. I think they would make a world record in population median height.

Yes south sudanese are considered world tallest nationality, Nilotes in south sudan are as tall as those in Australia tho, The biggest black group and visible one is south sudanese as well@Advokaten

Sometimes evolution makes little sense, things happen because they happen. I doubt their blue black skin is necessary for survival. Most likely just happened randomly or because people of that type were more sexually successful in that region.
