There is no proof that Cushites themselves migrated to South Africa, only that the San Bushman have Cushitic admixture.

They most likely intermingled in Kenya/Tanzania, which is where the Southern Cushites(who also have Khoisan admixture) live.

Nope.

That African archaeogenetic study had samples of extinct lake Malawi hunter-gatherers and they were not the variety the South Cushites mixed with to create the proto-Khoi/Nama. Near-full blood South Cushites mixed with far Southern San-type (''true Khoisan''). Not the semi-Khoisans found in Southeast Africa, but the Chinaman looking ones from the Kalahari.

So South Cushites made it to the area around Namibia/Botswana/Southwest South Africa. The edge of Southern Africa.

Until ancient South Cushites are found in Namibia/Botswana/Southwest South Africa like they were found in Northern Tanzania, this is nothing more than speculation.

It isn't speculation that S.Cushites directly mixed with Kalahari-type San and not with Lake Malawi hunter-gatherers. The admixture chart clearly indicate it for the South Africa 1,200 YBP (years before present) sample.

It’s entirely speculation that South Cushites migrated to South Africa. That’s what I’m talking about.

Southern Africa (the region) it is not. It is settled, both by that E-M35 lineage and the autosomal profile of that proto-Nama (no prehistoric Lake Malawi admixture, it is strictly Kalahari San+South Cushite).

Guys, why are you lot speaking about 'cushites'. What is this term? There is no such thing as cushitnimo. The fact that two other major Cushitic groups, Oromos and Afars, have a difficult relationship with us speaks for itself.

Im taking about Somali expansion, not 'Cushitic' expansion. So what if non Somali Cushitics ventured deep into central and southern Africa, what has that done for us? Nada, thats what.

Somalis are not ancient/old enough to have their own distinct genes. So we have to refer to generic macro terms like Cushite, Khoisan, Bantu, Nilote, Semite etc.

The younger divisions can't be detected as well in those studies cited.
