Is he talking about aboriginals,if so back in the day they weren't even considered human, they were under the flaura and fauna of our great nation. Also when Arthur Philip colonised Sydney cove his men beheaded an aboriginal man and sent the head to the UK for inspection by specialists to determine if they were humans or not.
I think he's talking about these very dark South Indians, like Dravidians, but that too.

Yeah I know. d:

The problem is when we people hear black, they immediately think of west Africans and their descendents(AAS, JAMAICANS, CARRIBEANS). Somali are black of course just like Christiano Ronaldo and Kevin Dr bruyne are both classified as being white. People from Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, and parts of Italy and Spain look more Arabs than white and they are still considered white because they are in Europe, the home of white people. Now, knowing all that, would a white person tell someone else I am white if asked where they are from? How come for whites, Asians and Latinos, when asked those questions, they never have to mention their skin color? Ask a Mexican where he is from, he won't say I am brown, he will say I am Mexican or I am from Mexico.

If you are a Somali, it's already evident that you are black by skin color, and that does not mean African Americans are somehow ur family any more than a Hungarian is related to and Irish. Lastly, if a black person has to ask u where ur from, aren't they already telling u that u look different from them, therefore not including you into whatever they consider black?

Finally, this a subjective topic, u think we are black, others won't agree, move on marka. Don't march on here trying to force whatever u believe on people.

Yes

Somalis are Somalis. That's their ethnicity
But race? Black
what is black. Because I know there is no such thing as the black race. Genetically the differences between a person from Senegal and somalia is bigger then the differences between an Asian person from China and a white person from the UK. What do we share with a so called 'black brothers and sisters' .

The two obvious factors are skin colour and land mass. Naturally we live in africa and therefore we are african. That is a simple truth that can't be denied. Then our skin colour. What determines our skin colour. Our race naturally has influence in that but the main factor is the tropical environment in of somalia, in which melanin has allowed us to survive in a hot desert country.

These two things are truly the only things they share with them however are they strong enough factors that able to identify us with them. Personally I don't think so. For example Pakistanis and Arabs have generally same skin colour and share the same land mass. However, could we say that they are the same people. No because it would be ludicrous to try to say they are the same people when it isn'the true. Any Paki or Arab would self identify as being different. Why because they are. In truth we share less with a so called black brothers. We have virtually no history, we don't have the same culture or languages or religion. Pakis and arabs share more such as land mass, skin colour, history and religion they are different, why.

If you want your identity to be determined by someone else that is fine. However when we virtually have nothing in common but skin colour and the same land mass, you can'take truthfully say we are the same. I will not let a white man determine my identity and re-write my history. When I broke away from the bullshit black label and went back to my real and truthful roots i learned some much about my people and wallahi I am proud to just call myself somali because that is all I am sxb. Return to your roots and don'the allow your self to be entangled in the struggles and life of people we share nothing with.

I will leave you with this sxb a somali quote about waaq, the god somalis worshipped before they accepted islam. 'God (Waaq) created the Black race and he smiled, and he created the White race and he smiled, and then he created the Somali race and he laughed." Even back then our ancestors established the differences and self determined their own identity. You are somali, nothing else nothing less.

Also I am fed up with these threads. Can we have some more originality wit has our threads please.:faysalwtf:
