We as Somalis want to act civilized, this is process that takes centuries to balance thought against primal instincts, tribe, clan, land, and traditions. It takes time, u r not even passed nation state building for 52 nations, you need to stop applying 'civilization' solutions to the good old jungle, the primal way of living is still the status quo, no matter if you wear a suit or have a phd, it's even in my stomach when I think of my awooweyaal and I am in Australia. It takes time waryaa, do not rush development of the mind or you just talking to people who will play games on you since they're history, culture, identity and land ownership is paramount over anything you have to say about 'knowledge'. They know where they live, dadku dabaalo ma aha, they know nature, even animals do for f*ck sakes.
That's why it's best to put 'lines' between us, at least have that culture of having our TURF and agreeing on staying on your side of it, even though this brings no agreement in the end, it allows for u to survive at least. We can negiotate but it must be on PRIMAL matters, dhinaca caloosha iyo waxaa guuxayo oo aan weli la badeli karin oo waqti iyo juhdi badan uu bahan. Arabs didn't transfer from living like us into a civilization over night but what they mastered was always 'remembering' the old way of life while counter balancing the new world of thought. So they let both co-exist and not interfere and why they had such a long civilization.
As Africans we need to work on nation state building, if u can even achieve that and build up education while ensuring tradition and values remain intact but 'co existing' in different spaces outside of the cities which is urban, u can eventually transition into a civilization later by adding african countries together. Don't rush it, don't play fake word games with us, we been wasting time playing 'word games' this is the world, you don't get second chance to live if u screw it up, the evidence is in all the fossils around, is that what you want for yourself?
We should remain neutral in matters of civilizations, not join into it when we have a long way to go ourselves, never join a society where there is no 'agreement' only thing that comes out is dead bodies, we know this in somalia why they put green lines in mudug to mogadishu. Xadkasi heeshish ma aha lakin waa lagu wada hadli kara at least to keep it there, lakin calosha waa bugta weli shaki igama jiro ama maxaa keenay heeshish la'an hadi aysan bugin, waa sheeko wa ino berito soo ma aha, haye hala diyaargaroobo ninka roon reerka uu harayo wala yaqana dhaqankasi somalida. Civilizations play a similar game but they counter-balance against 'thought' and 'civilization' era since this is an extremely complex matter itself but they have something to look back on at least, you don't so stay away from them.
