All interest in Somalia is due to Somaliland. Turkey is even trying to negotiate with SL now to stop Eygpt. They made a big error by thinking they can get anywhere through Mogadishu when Somalia is a polarised and bulkanised nation on the ground. They thought through mogadishu they can strong hand Somaliland but they don’t understand Somalis and how we operate. Now with Taiwan Somaliland will become economically and militarily no joke and will have to be negotiated with.

China is desperate for relations with Somaliland. They realise we won't cut off relations with TAIWAN so China want's to offer us many benefits in exchange for not formally recognising Taiwan. It's a win-win scenario for RSL and Somalia can only sit back and cry.
