Somali nomads vs arab bedouins woodworking

@Shimbiris @Idilinaa @NidarNidar @Emir of Zayla @The alchemist @Mohamedamiin120

This is something that i just realized and was honesty blown away by. It occurred to me when I though about why somali nomads built our aqals out of wood versus the arab bedouins who use tents. Then it hit me its because wood is extremely scarce for them these guys had to make do with using animal hairs because wood was far too rare. Ive been trying for the past couple hours to find any examples of arab bedouisn using wooden storage vessels or wooden combs or anything wooden related that every somali nomad had. But ive basically found nothing.

Literally all of the objects in this picture which are so common in somalia that every single nomad likley owned several of them . Are basically nonexistent among Arab bedouins. Whats even crazier is that I couldn't find a single image of an arabian camel bell on Google they were all somali. I want you guys to just sit and think about the implications behind that for a second.

Look what chatgpt told me when I tried to ask what these bedouins would have stored milk and butter in. Not a single mention of wood

Animal skin was superior for nomads in arid zones. You can strap a lot of animal skin water carriers to a camel than let say wooden vessels. Arabians also did have bells for their camels, they were made of iron….

That doesnt sound realistic its pretty obviously if you have wood as a building material your gonna use it. I doubts it's a concicdednce that the only people who use tents are nomads in the arabain penisula and the Sahara where there is little to no wood.

I can believe this but that would mean camel bells were rare since I doubt it would have been as cheap as something like a wooden camel bell. Also I cant find any examples of these arab camel bells except some Indian reproductions.
