Acts like these are damaging to Somaliland image, creditability and recognition aspirations and also their ability to attract FDI as it indicates to the international community that Somaliland suffers from the same symptoms affecting many African countries such as poor governance, lack of proper institutions, poor rule of law etc. If the artists breached their contract the proper way to handle this situation would have been, SL to start court proceeding and sue them through the legal channels. However it seems all the rule of law have been ignored and SL reputation have dragged through the mud, by acting like just like North Korea.
