SL administration lost it. Stupid moves like this, in order to score some political points, will be counterproductive and will only create more animosity and hatred between the people (not sure if that was the intention here). Arts should be free from politics. If the singers were allowed to go to Djibouti, Ethiopia and Kenya to perform in the past then they should be free to go wherever the hell they want to perform, as long as their performance has nothing to do with politics (as in, singing songs of patriotic or separatist in nature etc).
I think one of the singers in the band has been to Mogadishu couple of months ago and freely returned to Hargeisa so why didn't they arrest him back then? Somali/land politics in general are shit and childish.
