It seems that sector is in full retreat. The peak for Bosaso was 12 years ago in 2006, and the peak for Berbera was 6 years ago in 2012. Land degradation is starting to catch up with Somalia's ability to raise export quality livestock it seems. The largest economic sector is in absolute decline.
