Nobody is accusing them of waging a proxy war or that Al-shabab takes orders from them. Since the majority of Al-shabab leadership are Isaaqs, and Somalis are clan oriented people, the thought that there is a connection is more than reasonable.

This still doesnt prove anything that the somaliland government has connections to al shabaab. You're basically sounding like a conspiracy theorist. How credible is this german professor? Sounds like fake news to me. Until somaliland gets caught red handed then come talk to me for now allow this calacaal.
