Not happening. The PM dedicated part of his speech at the UN a couple of days ago to mention the plight of Palestinians and that Somalia fully support them.

I disagree. There’s no benefit to recognise isreal. We practically do everything the United States tells us and they ain’t give us nothing. The desalination process you are talking about is public knowledge and it’s just dependent on money . You can even buy a small desalination container from China but to build the ones isreal has requires billions.

Either way no matter how you look at it Isreal does not want to ally with us and the general population finds Israel actions repulsive.
However my point is Somalia shouldn’t pretend as if the country Isreal does not exist they clearly do. I don’t understand the lack of recognition for the state. China does horrible shit to the uyghurs but we recognise them and have normalised ties. Same with USA they massacred more muslims than Israel but we have US military bases within Somalia its hypocrisy.
