As far as I’m aware the Americans and British train troops within Somalia. Probably much easier for them and can afford to invest in building the infrastructure.

Eritrea showed great success in Tigray. Regardless what makes you think western countries are willing to train large amounts of troops? They will be worried of giving the FGS too much power.

With Eritrea, Egypt, Ethiopia and Uganda we have to worry less about that. For them it’s just transactional, they’ll ignore whatever legal and human rights issues that might occur from SNA expansion that isn’t under Western control/don’t follow orders of the President

It costs $15,000 to train a US soldier and we know how competent they are. For us to be paying 2/3rd of that amount for eritrea to train us is ridiculous.

America already trains PSF and Danab forces for free. Let alone us paying $10,000 for them to train them.

Turkey stopped training them after they realized there was no results. Most of them ended up joining Al Shabab

Our situation is similiar to that of the Democratic Republic of Congo who's troops are trained by France, Beligum, Angola, and Zimbabwe. There will be no cohesiveness and structure if our military are trained by many different countries.
