You have large Murusade communities in Hobyo, Xaradheer and Galkacyo. These Ceyr must have dropped dead couple of boons on the outskirts of Ceelbuur “district” centuries ago. Clan territories were not as well defined as today’s as clans were much smaller back then.

Laafo is usually used a prefix before the name of a clan or group to describe a major defeat, an area where a small skirmish takes place will not take on the prefix laafo.

So it was a major battle taking place on murursade land and it was between two completely different clan who don't inhabit the area.

The USC lost its advantage in weaponry in its fight with the SNF. It never really recovered militarily from it. The USC was so weakened that the SNF managed to link Gedo with Galgaduud by going through Ceel Barde and Beledweyne districts.

Only people who don't know anything about Somalia's civil war would dispute these facts.

At the same time Col C/risaaq Isaaq Biixi was leading SNF during Feero Qumuux which was another defeat for USC this time near Dhusmareeb.

The town of Belet Huen on the Ethiopian frontier has been captured by the joint Marehan and Hawadle forces, who had lost it to Aideed's forces while the United Nations was still in Somalia last year." [1]
