There are two places known as Laafo Hawiya and they are often confused for one another each signifying a massive military defeat

Near Ceelwaaq where the first major battle of the SNF Counter Offensive began. Marehan were on the defensive and had no time to regroup or organize but as soon as we did we launched one of the most successful military operations in civil war history.

As for Laafo Marexaan apparently two entirely different clans were duking it out just past murursade capital.

What two different clans are you talking about? Laafo mx is between ceelbuur and jacar no other qabiil lives there except murusade so idk what other qabiil your talking about.

And even if Laafo Hawiye was real, that shouldn’t be the name since it was only aideed and his men that you fought which was mostly hg and other yaryars. You didn’t even encounter the other major hawiye subs.

The US government records and archives a lot of information about other countries, everybody knows this. That book was during the Derg Administration and proves the province had both names. Anyways atleast hawiye have no claim to these lands because they were never mentioned.

Haiwye didn't live in the awraja during the Derg thats it other clans had their territory though.

Isa and gurgura awraja was mentioned during 1935 during the Ethio- Italy second war that map is from 1943. Your people probably migrated there around that time.
