UPDATE Somali Refugees in Kenyan Camps are now Allowed to assimilate with the Kenyan Public and allowed to travel outside the Camp

This is good news for Somali refugees in Kenyan camps,after 30 some plus years the Refugees from the neighboring country are able to assimilate with the Kenyan public and move freely within the country as well.

Just few months ago the Kenyan government threatened to close these refugee camps but never went through with it's plan after the Donor dependent country faced criticism from IC.

This is a great opportunity for Somali refugees in Kenyan to enroll in Kenyan schools,learn a trade (skill)or do bussniess outside these gainst camps and eventually gain Kenyan citizenship, I urgue those refugees to Stay in Kenyan and change the demographics for our favor to help the decreasing numbers or NFD Somalis of Kenya.

The population in Nfd is increasing not decreasing. Dadaab is only a small portion. This is good news but we must avoid people with ties to terrorists taking advantage of this new opportunity!

Kenya gets a lot of flack here but honestly it’s a great country and we should be grateful to have them as neighbours.

They have a bigger population than Ethiopia with just half its population. And it’s not like they are an oil producer, it’s mainly due to their human capital.

They have dozens of ethnicities, religions & languages and managed to coexist peaceful with no civil wars, unlike most its neighbours.

Somali’s should be grateful NFD remained with Kenya, if they hadn’t there’d be no reason for a Somali to be seen anywhere roaming in Kenya.
