The text in Somali by the PM says that it is haram to criticise Hassan Sheikh as he is the ruler engaged in fighting AS. The madkhalis and neo salafis believe it is haram to criticise a government or a ruler (even if he doesn’t rule you, lol) in any way, shape or form. Using your Palestinian example, the Neo salafi and madkhali position would be that it is haram to openly criticise any Muslim government or president for inaction or Palestine. To give you another example, madkhalis and Neo salafis believe that it is haram to criticise the UAE for arming the RSF. An even more extreme position is the notion of mere criticism equaling being akin to rebellion.
All of these positions I listed above have no real weight amongst ahlul Sunnah btw. And when they do, the Neo salafis and madkhalis take them out of context.

If three men go on a journey they should also appoint an imam. You are loosely using the term ruler here to describe HSM and then applying that obedience to the furthest extent.
Secondly HSM only becomes a ‘ruler’ in the context with the states authority as his electorate(ahl hali wal aqd). Its already questionable if this is even legitimate with the absence of SL and AS controlled territories. If you have the collective authority to name a ruler it doesnt go away once you’ve named one. Nobody would consider MSB the rightful ruler once he was in Lagos.
Authority is a condition to rulers not divinely appointed like the Mahdi or those named by the former leader.
If a leader takes control after committing khurooj his rule is valid anyways. Since HSM already lost shouldn’t I follow my leader Sayid Axmed?
