I know the Somali community much better than you do. You have very little exposure to it apart from your family and friends. Somali women leave their husbands at any time and don't give back the mahr (if she was lucky to get it in the first place). So many Somali women will not care about getting their talaq. If they have to stay, it's because they are financially dependent or because of parental pressure.
