Only time they make over 75k+ is if they are working with a solid company like Walmart, or Amazon for example and those companies only hire established vet drivers. Your average Owner operator make more like around 100-200k plus but a lot of their money ends up going to maintenance so they usually take home around 70-90k on avg.
I know a few somali truckers. Most of the ones making good money are the established veterans that have their own trucking companies. Your new somali drivers aren't making as much compared to them.
Honestly you can find jobs locally that pay the same and better without having to be away from home all the time. You might as well just become a nurse, diesel mechanic, or an IT nigga. The only somali niggas that should become truck drivers are fobs, and dumb niggas.

Veteran drivers can make good money especially if they maintain a good driving record and have more than 2 years of experience.
Owners operators usually make this. It's hard to make this if your a company driver unless you're working for a big corporation like Walmart, ups, or Amazon. Being an owner operator is tough to because you have to take care of your truck with your own money. It's an expensive career.
Overall if your a western born Somali nigga this shouldn't be a career choice for you unless you fucked up somewhere in life. You can find careers that pay the same without having to be gone from home for a majority of the year.
