GREEN BAY - A 25-year-old Howard woman is in the Brown County Jail as detectives continue to investigate the presumed death of her child, a 5-year-old boy reportedly found in the trunk of her car this week after going missing for months.

Sagal A. Hussein is being held on a $500,000 bond on charges of child neglect and forgery, according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office became involved Jan. 26 when a neighbor reported seeing Hussein's two children, ages 2 and 6, outside unsupervised.
The older child told deputies their mother had left the previous night and they didn’t know where she was.

When deputies talked to Hussein, she said she’d been gone for only 40 minutes. Deputies notified Brown County Child Protective Services, who took the two children into temporary placement. Deputies then learned Hussein had a third child, Josias Marquez, 5.

As deputies and child services caseworkers continued to investigate, Hussein claimed Josias was with his father out of state, but she never provided a contact number.

Deputies learned this week she had lied about the father’s identity and that the child had not been seen for months.

Investigators searched her car Tuesday and found a corpse inside. An autopsy failed to confirm the identity, but the corpse is presumed to be that of Josias.

Hussein appeared in Brown County Circuit Court for a probable cause hearing, and she was jailed on a $500,000 cash bond. Charges are expected April 15.
No one other than Hussein that investigators interviewed has seen Josias since Nov. 25, according to the sheriff’s office.
Josias is said to have a disability and high needs that require extensive care, the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone who has seen the boy since Nov. 25, has witnessed any abuse or neglect to any of the three children, or has any other information should call Sgt. Brian Slinger at 448-4404 or Sgt. Randy Lind at 448-6184.
Members of the family of the dead child’s father, James Marquez, have been posting on social media that the child was found in the trunk of Hussein’s car after having been missing for a short time.

Marquez, 26, lives in San Jose, California. He and Hussein had two other children, now ages 3 and 7, that have been placed in foster care pending the investigation, family members say.

Family members have started a GoFundMe account online to try to raise money to send Marquez back to Wisconsin to get the other two children.

He is probably a looser and lives in California, his latino relatives set up a Godfund page for him to visit his kids and cover the cost of his air travel,can't even afford an airline ticket to see his kids, gaajo.
