She's lost, like the Somali guys who make "drill" music, sag their pants, commit crimes, and spend 24/7 with other men. But they can all return to Allah SWT and become better Muslims than all of us.

I am also convinced that there are a lot of undiagnosed mental and learning conditions that lead to that lifestyle to begin with, which is why I have a lot of sympathy for them.

I'm not looking at this from a religious perspective, none of us are perfect Muslims, she chose her path and this has led to her current situation.. Let's hope she learns from this and turn her path.

Obviously she didn’t deserve to be bricked and the man was completely at fault but at the same time there’s people who are completely innocent and those who find themselves in bad situations due to poor life choices, she’s clearly made some poor life choices to find herself in this situation (getting bricked is still not her fault and the onus still lies on the perpetrator).

As a man it’s my right to determine who I think is worthy of my protection and providence (just like as a women it’s their right who they think is worthy of their love and care) and I wouldn’t risk my life for someone like this women, you can’t even tell she’s Somali let alone Muslim, why would I risk my life for her when there’s much better people in my life and sisters/brothers around the world who’s much more deserving of my protection, I’m not wasting it on some random crackhead that has nothing to do with me from a visible standpoint.

Same thing with gangbanger abdis, I’m not protecting/helping these idiots who find themselves in dangerous situations. If you want to be protected by your own community (the only people who will protect you are your family and community) then there’s some stipulations to be followed and if you break them don’t expect any kind of care from the community and this applies towards men and women.

Yes sadly it does happen, especially to those of immigrant parents in low income neighbourhoods. But we also have to put some personal responsibility to each individual, you can't act dumb and then absolve yourself of responsibility simply because your conditions.
But personally If my child were to devolve to the level close to this woman they'd be in Djibouti shoveling horse shit on awoowes old land.

There are drunks, khat-heads and zanis/zaniyahs in Djibouti and Somalia also. They have always existed. It's not always the parents to blame. Literally, at times, all parents can do is tie these people up in prison somewhere. I've even seen that happen, with parents trying to kidnap their wayward children, but all they do is escape and go at it again.

Of course we know that these people need to be responsible for themselves etc, but a brick to the head, for rejecting a man? That's insane.
