I just find it hard to wrap my head around about How their can be non married relationship sanctioned by parents.

One thing I've discovered in life is this, don't tell your 'Somali' female friends anything about him not even his real name or what part of town his from, unless you really trust them.
I mean, if you lived in a small town or city, I guess it would be a little more tricky especially, if your were a teenager.
But once you hit your 20's you can do what you want, you can't go through life fearing, what others think of you or gossip about - trust me these ppl will always be finding something to talk about, so why give a f*ck?
