Yeah a small minority of Somalis are ignorant of the fact that fair-skinned Muslims also exist. These Kids still have the Somali look/features & will be raised as Somalis by their Father, the ignorant views of a minority shouldn't matter.

Saxiib, Somalis are Xenophobic as hell. This madness even at times extends to ethnic Somalis. Some in-laws prefer the house of a daughter in law who is from the same qabil over the one who is from a distant qabil.

These kids dont even look cadan. They look like normal light skinned somalis.

Also, one example is not enough to prove anything. I've seen this same video posted around soo much by somalis warning against intermarriage. Funny how i always see this one. I've seen half white half somalis before. Once they say they are somali, everyone asks for their qabil to "verify" them. If they say we don't know, as sometimes happens they get clowned. If they know, they are just another somali kid. Although half madows were discriminated against for beint ugly.

No this is an outlier. Half mix somalis are generally perceived well, especially if they know their culture and language.

Here's all the factors that come into acceptance:

Mixture: It is quite obvious somalis are xenophobic, but you must also know somalis are more phobic towards some ethnicities than others

Rankings (with somalis being 100%):
- Arabs and other horners(including sudanese and any non-arab north africans) (90%)
- Desi (75%)
- cadaan and latino (50%)
- Indhoyar (35%)
- Madow (0%)

Religion also plays a part, where muslim is most prefered.

So the most ideal mixture outside of somali would be I'd say a half somali half sudanese kid who speaks somali fluently and knows a lot about somali culture (i.e qabil, politics, food, music etc).

And the worst mix would obviously be somali madow with no dhaqan. I'd say even if the somali madow kid knew how to speak somali and stuff and was also muslim, they still wouldn't be loved as much as somali-arab who is secular.

My family has lived in islington since the early 90s. Never once had any of us seen any kind of somali mix wallahi. No Somali-white mix, no Somali-madow mix, no Somali-asian mix. You guys are just begging it now.

London diaspora has a lot of problems, we have high single parent homes, we are financially less well off than the others. But one thing we dont have is mixing with outsiders. This guy is most likely from Bristol. That is where most of the twitter xalimos are from.

Those kids shouldn't face backlash besides they look Somali. But this should be a evident reminder to preserve the Somali genes
