The Second Deputy Speaker of the Somali Lower House Parliament, Abdullahi Omar Abshirow, explained the Somali government's decision to withdraw from the IPU Presidential election held in Angola on Friday, even though a candidate representing the Somali parliament attended the election.

Very few Abgaal elite support HSM tbh. He’s a HG candidate, I welcome everyone to support him however. He’s a good President for the country

They may not support some of his views and the things that he does but they support him staying in Villa Somalia. Hassan is just an individual to us, dad na boqor uu uyahay aduunyo waye
