Can you count in Arabic? Talaado is like Talatha which means 3 in Arabic and Arbaco which is 4 and Khamiis which is 5. Didn't realise the others were tho

Is it just me or is it just feel better to use the Arabic days of the week and Months?

To be fair, there is no standard Somali 'ancient' calender's

cause it coincided with meteorological events/ weather events and seasonal changes based on WHERE you lived in Somalia/Horn of Africa

So the desert calendar was different from the jungle calendar, which was different then the coastal calendar.

But they all could understand all the calender's.

Irl, Somalis only use Arabic days of the Week.
