Got a couple relatives going to Ivy League schools Mashallah
That's amazing ! I hope young somalis make use of their success by making short vlogs online of their school days in ivy league's to inspire other somali diaspora kids to strive for even higher success.I know one somali girl who went to harvard.

Online influence has a choke hold on this generation, somalis should take advantage of it and start showing off the achievements in our community instead of the embarrassments.
Even the ones who don’t go to ivy leavue schools go to local unis or colleges. Most boys I’ve met are interested into tech and compsci. Most women do nursering or health sciences with a lot going into tech as wellThat's amazing ! I saw this wholesome reaction video of american students getting accepted in ivy league.
saw this version of an ethiopian girl which made me wonder are there any somali-americans here who are or went to ivy league schools ?
You missed my point, it's not about "bragging" it's showing postive Influence within your community. With the amount somali youth ending up in gangs, doing crime and all sorts of shenanigans it sure wouldn't hurt seeing well educated young successful somali representation. My little cousin got accepted by all of the ivy leagues I think she picked Yale. Am sure there are a lot somalia who attends those schools most of them are busy minding their business not bragging about it.
Reer uk there’s always a Somali society at most Russel group university ,and as well at Oxford and Cambridge obviouslyReer UK makes me proud for once, somali girls in Cambridgeeven ajnabis are cheering for us in the comments.
On a serious note though when I go on tiktok and see #somali I better be seeing my people succeed like this and not some fat xalimos from back home shaking her ass in a dirac to hindi songs.
I understand however people do not like hearing the good stuff people like drama. You missed my point, it's not about "bragging" it's showing postive Influence within your community.
